  1. Praise God for His faithfulness and steadfast love towards people. Here's a report from how He used a brother today:

"'Today I was coming home from where I park my car...about a two block walk. I picked up a stack of Harvest Chicago business-card sized invites and asked God to use some of th...ese seeds to bring people into His family.

As I walked along the street, putting the cards on the driver's side window, I came upon a young couple. I handed them a card and said, "it's a free concert".

A moment later, the young man came rushing to me: "Can I have some more?" He said, excitedly.

    "Sure...how many?"

    "Uh..five." "No, take more."

" You know them? I said to the young woman--"the bands, Greg Laurie?"

    "Oh, yeah" she said.

"A lot of people come to the Lord at these crusades," I said. "You can bring saved, unsaved people, backsliders. Here," I said,"take them all," and gave her all my cards.

"Great!" she said, "I can pass them out to everybody at work'"

  2. Praise God for His faithfulness and Great love and grace towards people !

This summer I have been going to the concert series in the park in Bensenville on Wednesday evenings to pass out gospel tracts and listen to the music. It is a great place to talk to people about the Lord because a lot of the people are younger and there is a lot of activity going on near the park. The younger ones are the ones that seem to me to be the most open.

I got there early and prayed for the Lord to give me wisdom, people to talk to, and pass out tracts. The Lord lead me to talk to three young guys ages 14 thru 15 years old that all knew each other. Their names were Rico, Julian and Daniel. We had a very good talk about whether or not they thought they were going to Heaven when they die. They all heard the Gospel message and they all wanted to read the tracts and think about the free gift of grace and salvation through our faith in Jesus. They were all open to hearing about our Lord and savior Jesus and said they would pray at home to ask Jesus to be there Lord of their lives. They seemed very interested in hearing more and were not in a hurry to go anywhere until we were done talking. It was truly amazing to see the Holy Spirit working.

Later Todd was able to join me to do some more witnessing, and passing out more tracts, and about a hundred invite cards for the Harvest Crusade to the young people around the park. We prayed first and asked the Lord to fill us full of His Spirit, give us the words to say, and meaningful conversations with people. Praise God because He answered all our prayers and more!

He lead Todd and I to talk to Josh and Ray. These were two young lads we gave tracts to and shared our faith with them. Ray, when asked about whether he thought he was going to Heaven or Hell he said , "Definitely"-- he thought he was going to Hell! When asked if that concerned him, he wasn't sure. He did seem open to hearing more about salvation. Todd gave him more information, and more Scripture to hear, and think about.

Later the Lord lead us to a young couple named Jeremy and Esperanza. They said they were fairly new believers, and said they gave their lives to the Lord, however, they did not know if they had salvation! We talked and discussed this with them for more than an hour.

More of their friends came by while we were talking to them and they said they wanted more invite cards for the Chicago Harvest . They were really excited, and said, "We've been looking for more of these!" They said they would pass out the cards to more of their friends too, so Todd gave them all the cards he had. This is exactly what happened to Todd the night before after he prayed the same way and as passing out Harvest Invite cards.

All in all we had a great night to do God’s work and build His Kingdom! We were both so blessed. As Todd said in his Praise report from yesterday, and it is so true and worth repeating.

"Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest." - John 4:35
